I start from the bottom. You can line up the buttons without needing to look in a mirror. I don’t understand why anyone would start buttoning from the top. It’s just less efficient. Explain your reasoning

    Start with the top botton, stop, button the cuffs, then you are good to go.

          i exclusively wore button down shirts for like… 2 decades plus. I just wanted to have a pocket up there. it was so handy.

          and i don’t think there was a single day when putting on the shirt, i didn’t just button the top button like i was TLC
