You can see where this probably used to be two smaller rooms. The bathroom looks to be located just off the kitchen. Perhaps it was only a half bath at one point in time or not even a bathroom. At some point they tore down the wall and made it a full bath. I have no idea why they didn’t just wall up the door though.
My hypothesis is that it was a walk in larder that was converted and they needed enough space for the toilet so they removed a wall to make it one room with the broom closet that was behind the wall…
Honestly the place is very cool for the price but if the owner did something like that I don’t want to deal with the rest of the mess they might have created!
