Hazy skies tinged with an eery yellow glow greeted millions of Canadians in Quebec and Ontario again Wednesday as the smoke from hundreds of wildfires continued to cause air quality warnings in Canada's most populated corridor. In a bizarre twist of fate, on a day when air quality was among the worst the country has ever seen, it was national Clean Air Day in Canada.
What part of the country are you in? I’m in Vancouver and got my first whiffs of smoke today. In past summers we’ve used ice packs to stay sane. Just keep rotating ice packs through the freezer and keep them on your lower back, or neck, or even on top of your head. Just not directly against the skin so you don’t get frostbite.
Hi friend! I’m in Abbotsford, it got pretty nasty here today. Thanks for the tips re: icepacks. I’ll keep that in mind.
I saw there was a fire on the north shore north of Chilliwack that seemed to be the source of the smoke. Stay safe out there!
