I also recently fired up the old RSS reader (to fill the void left by Reddit until I found Lemmy). The main feed I was using was the Yahoo! Sports CFB feed:

The only issue is it’s a fire hose of content because it merges all the articles from different teams’ beat writers (and sometimes random HS football coverage creeps in, too). I try to follow the whole sport, so that’s okay with me, but if you’re mostly a fan of one team I would look for just that feed.

I only just added 247Sports’ feed to my reader, but it seems to be really promising so far:

I think both sites have feeds for other sports, too.
