So maybe three years ago now, I crocheted the Boatneck Top w/ Kimono Drop Sleeve by Kristen Stein and loved every second of it. Took it with me on the bus every morning, made friends with the designer on Instagram, I was SO into this pattern I can’t even tell you!

And then after wearing it once, I lost it. Literally no idea how. We’ve turned the house upside down more than once looking for it, but I finally had to admit it’s gone.

So after a lot of procrastination, it’s time for v2.0. And I really need to have this done quite quickly because we’re going on a cruise in August and I have a TON of stuff I want to make.

Therefore, public accountability post! Started this last night and we’re 4 motifs in to a 26-motif top. Since lace looks like nothing until it’s blocked I’ve draped it on the dummy to attempt to give you a clue 😅

    That is indeed an awesome pattern. And this one should come up even better than your lost one. Hey, hey! Wouldn’t it be hilarious if the old one turned up exactly the same day you finish this one? And will you be so kind to let me know if this actually happens? :D
