The OG digital edition is probably sold at a loss, expecting to recoup sales with subscription and software and also undercut series S. Seeing how ps plus isn’t doing as well as they hoped, and PS5 has solidified itself in the market, this is probably more in line with realistic profit margins. Still sucks for the buyer, but I don’t mind as I’m perfectly happy with my launch ps5 digital
