Not gonna lie, I came here expecting a punchline.
I for real thought it was from the dad jokes sub. I was super relieved when I realized it was a link to a news story about an actual bear, and not that the punchline was supposed to be that the bear was black and stole something.
Sounds bad. But black bears ate the nicest bears. Genrally just scared of people. I lived in altanta for a while. Bears entered the surrounding cities every now and then. Got stuck onnlampposts trying to avoid people. Now brown bears will fuck you up.
A brown bear and polar bear case the joint from across the street, taking notes. Their black bear accomplice rejoins them with a gummy grin. “These idiots are a good mark. They don’t know to fight back!”
…and no chickens had to cross the road.
