While brain worms have made many horrifying headlines this year, the good folks at the New England Journal of Medicine offer some fresh nightmare fuel ahead of Halloween: an ear spider. And there’s a video.
I can’t tell if this is sound medical advice or not. Seems legit, apart from perhaps alcohol might be too rough on the ear drum.
It is. In many insect extraction videos the doctors do just that.
Could use warm olive oil, that is supposed to be good for clearing wax out too. Might leave you with a dose of the dreaded oily ear though
