    u/spez might be the problem right now. But the deeper problem truly is the platform. It’s reddit, it’s any Internet company run for profit. No matter how ethical they start out, eventually they will need to take money from unethical people to survive because ethical social media isn’t profitable.

    And even if you’re the most ethical CEO of all time, and you hold the line and fight the good fight for your company, eventually you have to retire or die. And if the company is still alive when that happens, the vultures have it now.
