First post on here had to be this:

I just watched the last episode of the first season of Silo on AppleTV+, and now I can’t wait for season 2.

I’ll keep from spoiling in the post, but be warned: there will probably be some in the comments!

So - did any of you see it yet? What do you think?

I’m thinking about starting the books. Just to get more from this universe.

I’m willing to bet that the big door at the bottom is access to the other silos.

I’m also quite sure that Holston is probably dead. Along with everyone else, that went outside.

I had this thought last night, after seeing the finale. What if the other silos are open to each other, and only Silo 18 (I’m guessing it the number based on the key to the mainframe having number 18 on it) is closed off / isolated? Maybe because of it being the origin of the rebellion? As some sort of sanction. Or maybe to contain The Syndrome - whatever that even is.

I know it’s far fetched. But who knows? (Other than the millions of people who’ve read the books, of cause ;-))

Ooo I like this. Another though is maybe they had an accident with the drilling or just happen to be on bad part of the water table so the silo flooded and cut off access.

Alternatively could be like some fallout nonsense where one silo was selected to be isolated.

I don’t think most, even Bernard, who’s in the know more than most, knew about the door or the bottom of the silo. Which is weird.

It struck me that Bernard clearly didn’t know about the door. His reaction when Jules mentioned looked quite a bit like surprise.

OH my, I’m looking forward to next season
