Hello! I recently upgraded my laptop with 500 gb of storage but it’s on another disk from where I have installed linux. How can I expand my linux root partition when linux is installed on another disk and I am also dual booting with windows? I am using linux mint.

    Assuming you are using logical volumes, you’d want to create a partition, create a physical volume on it, add that to the existing volume group, and extend the the root lv.

    It’s been a while since I installed Mint, but logical volumes are probably the installer default. Here is a blog post I found talking about this.
