    A parrot mimics language but doesn’t speak it.

        They don’t understand language. They can’t consent. Like a baby the mimics words and we cheer when they get it right, but parrots never understand the words. Same with gorillas.

          There are examples of African Grey parrots that can genuinely speak and understand language because they’re fantastically intelligent creatures. But a smart bird is still only as smart as a toddler, and I don’t see y’all drinking toddler cum.
