Thanks for posting, I have so much to say about this.

Jon does such fantastic work, he really is the best sports content creator. In my book no one else is even close.

I do not care one bit for baseball, but his Mariners’ series made me care. Next I found myself watching in breathless suspense every time Dave Stieb got close to pitching a no-hitter. This guy somehow even made me interested in athletes named Bob enough to watch two hours about them.

When he did one on the Falcons, I knew what was going to happen, anyone who watches the NFL did. It was that knowledge that made it a perfect tragedy. We all know what happens in that Superbowl, but after spending hours and hours of the series invested in the team, getting to know the players and coaches, experiencing that game hits different. I found myself cheering for the Falcons like I was a fan on that day, while knowing it would all come crashing down.

After the Falcons inevitably lost the Superbowl in humiliating fashion and the series finished, I couldn’t help wanting him to give the Vikings the same treatment, but when a fan asked he shot it down, saying our history was “too heartbreaking” and maybe another time. A bit tongue in cheek, but I still had hope he’d do it eventually. But man, I had no idea the day would come so quickly!

Other than a Superbowl, this is the next best thing that could have happened to the Vikings’ franchise. That’s my honest opinion. If I could get any YouTube creator to do a video on anything I wanted, it would be Jon doing a Vikings documentary. And it will tide me over right up until the first NFL game! Just incredible.

First and foremost, FTS and FTP. I’m a Falcons fan that has a soft spot for the Vikings ever since I learned of their hated of the saints. The Super Bowl video was probably the hardest thing I’ve ever watched outside of the game itself.

I love the Skol chant especially since we got Atlanta United and started doing a version of it. After watching most of Quarterback on Netflix, I’m hoping to visit US Bank soon. It looks awesome and I see the similarities to Mercedes Benz.

I haven’t watched the Mariners videos, I’ll have to go back and watch.

A Falcons fan, nice! FTS and FTP my friend.

It’s pretty cool we both get a documentary about our teams from Bois. Ours is going to be a different vibe though, you had lots of historic failure and a big tragic moment, the Vikings have lots of historic success but never quite enough. Because of that I don’t think it will be difficult for me to watch any of the episodes like it was for you, rather it will be a slow burn of sadness that gradually eats away at any and all hope.

You should definitely visit the stadium sometime, it’s massive and one of the nicest ones in the NFL. I got a tour in the off-season, and they let me go into the locker room, the owners box, the entrance tunnel, and other cool places you usually wouldn’t get to see.

If I was to travel to a stadium my top pick would be to visit Mercedes-Benz stadium, mainly for the incredible in-person fan experience you’ve got over there.

I highly recommend visiting when you get a chance. After going to Braves games all summer, the atmosphere feels a little forced in my opinion but everything else is awesome. Plus the best part is the fan first pricing.
