Having known people who live through real police states, America is not a police state

Well let’s tie onto the “America isn’t that much of a police state” argument so we can one day get to mega shithole levels of police state

We don’t have police checkpoints, we don’t have to hide our phones when we go out places, we don’t have to edit our living patterns in any meaningful way. Do some people get stopped for looking a certain way? Absolutely. Are the police perfect? Absolutely not. But America is not a police state. Not even close. I’m sure you’d agree that words have power so choose better words. We can only communicate when everyone has a similar understanding of what words mean.

          See my previous comment?

Police are a protected class. That makes the US a police state.

They don’t work for us. Normal people only have power once they all agree not put up with that shit, so I’m sorry but your slow slide into mega shithole isn’t ideal.

Words have meaning but so does simple math.
