At the point that the demand doesn’t elect the greater evil?

Go ahead and don’t vote, boy that will sure show the establishement… Nothing. Or vote against your interests to teach them a lesson! Oh wait, that’s like punching yourself in the face.

When will that be? At what point will it not be Democrat vs Republican if people keep voting for Democrats or Republicans? Genuinely would like to hear your solution.

The actions to take on election day and the solutions long term solutions are unrelated. I agree that the choices are usually shitty, but if you pick option 3 all you do is fuck yourself or the rest of us and make yourself look obnoxiously stupid.

Run for office to make it incrementally better. That’s what I’m doing.

Calling people who don’t vote for your candidate obnoxiously stupid is not a great argument for getting them to vote for your candidate, just FYI.

I don’t care who you vote for, bucko. I’m extending you the courtesy of explaining that when you go party 3 with no chance in hell of winning, anyone who understands how FPTP voting works thinks you’re remedial. It’s not some great virtuous act of protest of the system; you could just stay home and smell your own virtue farts instead of wasting the gas *shrug*

You should use this strategy when you run for office, bucko. It’s working great and isn’t condescending at all.
