It’s to help them calculate how close they should get to the ass of my Honda, while in a 30 MPH zone.

Average Ram owner: WTF is this nerd shit?

You may be overestimating how many Ram drivers actually use their truck for anything besides peacocking. Maybe it’s a regional thing, but around here I see more of them without a scratch on the bed than hauling or towing anything.

    Engineer here.

This chart seems pretty stupid. I mean, why??? Also, what’s the use of the X-Y graph in inches and millimeters?

Also, 3/4" converts to 19.1mm, not 19.0mm (19.05 rounds up)

And anyone who has tried to use metric wrenches as a substitute for the proper size imperial one knows this is only going to work for a couple of sizes. The rest are going to be too tight or usually too loose.

Are there even any imperial fasteners at all on any new vehicles today???

    This chart be dumb

The graph is there so you have two rulers instead of just having the lines with no use but to show angles and a triangle.

Its for workers. You can use 3/4 inch sockets on 19 mm bolts for example, and often the other way around too.

I’m a HUGE fan of the inclusion of Pythagorean theorem. I can’t tell you how many times I had to check my truck for my crib notes to remember it.

They’re getting roasted harder than a transmission in a Mopar.

I used to drive a 2003 RAM 2500. It was one of my favorite vehicles I’ve ever owned. But you gotta respect the size, and the pedestrians and motorists around you. I also kind-of drive like an overly cautious grandma.

That being said, lots of truck drivers really suck and don’t do any of the above, so I understand the flak and will totally jump in on the roast.

99% of RAM owners will never use this except to show it off to other truck owners who don’t have it. And neither group will ever actually use the truck, but they’ll lift it and put swampers on them lmao

They certainly used a lot of space to give the trigonometry lesson. It seems like it would be useful to skip that section and make the metric conversion charts bigger and easier to read.
