If you swipe left you get to Google News. Is it possible to replace this feed with another app? Maybe an independent news service?
Guess what you are relly looking for is to be able to have an App to open when you are swiping left. Maybe try to search for a solution for that and then a newsapp which you Like? I would do it like that.
I believe it’s just hard baked into the phone’s software. You’d have to jail break it to change it. Try a news app for your needs?
That I need a launcher or root is clear to me. But which app then offers its own feed that I reach by swiping left?
Wish I could help. Last time I looked at launchers was when I needed to dumb down my wife’s grandpa’s phone. Back in the day, the Windows Launcher had a news feed. I don’t know what it’s like now. But it’s Windows.
