I know! I played the entirety of the game and enjoyed it very thoroughly. Then they released the first big upgrade years ago and I couldn’t. I tried recently to make a new character and I only lasted a couple days. I can’t get to the new content no matter how hard I try.
As much as I loved SDV when I played through it, I don’t know if I could start another run despite the new content. Too much lol

I can but I kinda forgot how to play my main. I logged on once and was like oh, my what in the world am I supposed to do here? 😂
Like everything else in SDV, just learn as you go.
If you play on PC, add some mods, for example Stardew Valley Expanded or Friends of Mineraltown
I also love the Automate mod for letting me focus on the interesting stuff and not the boring stuff.
