    I studied the basics of quantum computing but the actual algorithms and their implementation, as well as the implementation of error correction, are still over my head and I find it hard to understand a lot of the recent work in the field. Still, I would like to stay updated on the topic!

      Same. I studied the basics of quantum computing in my computer’s science degree. It was the only class I left understanding less than I did at the beginning. However, I find it absolutely fascinating and mind blowing, so I like to stay up to date!
