This is exactly the problem. Companies use materials that they then pass off on the consumer to be responsible for recycling. The responsibility will always fall on the companies. Plastic turned out to be a fraud pushed by the oil companies. Aluminum and glass can easily be recycled indefinitely. It is not the consumer’s responsibility to be environmentally conscious. It is the manufacturer and corporate body that is ultimately responsible for their packaging and safe disposal of product.
