That’s also a pretty bad comparison because both Catholics and Protestants treat each other as something different. Even non-Christians see a significant difference. What are you trying to say? Clearly metaphor and simile aren’t working right now…

The Muslim brotherhood exists presently. Right now.
So do Catholics, yet Protestants still exist!
The Protestant reformation famously was a bunch more than Martin Luther “changes [the churchs] name”.
That’s also a pretty bad comparison because both Catholics and Protestants treat each other as something different.
Even non-Christians see a significant difference.
