What should I add to my ‘watch soon’ list?

I just started “Severance” and it’s really interesting. Premise is there is a workplace where they ‘sever’ people’s consciousness so their work-self doesn’t know anything about what they do when they go home, and vice-versa for the home-self not knowing anything about what goes on at work.

Saw an interesting clip of it on tiktok, then saw the same scene but subtly different in S1E1… I’m pretty sure that I’ll see the clip I previewed later in the season, and its just edited to be a mindfuck, but had about 10 very confused minutes.

I pirated ‘Dark’ after starting on Netflix then cancelling once they enforced the password sharing policy. Truly one of the greatest thriller/mystery shows ever.

I just finished watching The Good Place (I know, criminally out of date) and really liked that. When it comes to movies, I downloaded a bunch of old comedies like Airplane, Big Bus, Naked Gun, and Police Academy. Other recents I could recommend include the X-Men movies, se7en, 9, Puss in Boots (2022), and the entirety of the Ice Age movies to watch drunk with friends.

      I love the good place!

If you like slapstick comedies, id recommend Robin Hood Men In Tights. Maybe Blazing Saddles, but it has aged questionably - parts are pretty racist but at least the racists are portrayed as stupid and evil

I received a DMCA email for Star Trek’s The Next Generations… so worth it lol

    • An excellent show, and the reason I started pirating in the first place. I need to start watching it where I left off at S3.

The end of S2, much like the majority of S1 and 2, was just awful, to the point where it left a bad taste in my mouth and had to take a break from star trek. And that was a year ago!

Since rarbg went down I’ve been grabbing things before they gone for good.

I want to mention Person of Interest, that show is so good (and more relevant than ever) I watched it all twice, and remuxed version is available online!

I can’t believe it’s been 9 years since I saw that in the cinema, no expectations and it was fantastic.

I’ve been watching “Match Me Abroad.” Basically, it’s people going to other countries in order to find love through a matchmaker service. It’s not very good, but it’s entertaining.

I rewatched the fast and the furious recently with a mate because he had only seen the more recent films. It’s a bit of a trip going back after the craziness of the recent films to what was ostensibly Point Break with car racing.

Such a crazy change in the mood of those films, isn’t it?! They’re cool in a car-nerd way in the beginning, by the end they’re infallible strategic dark ops geniuses. It’s a trip.

Puss in boots: The Last Wish, Spider-Man Into The Spider-Verse (soon watching the new one as well), ATLA (all seasons) and The Legend of Korra (also all seasons)
