That’s what private browsing is for. I certainly don’t use private browsing by default.
I clear history older than 2 months. Recent history is too damn useful to revisit a page by typing part of the title or URL in the address bar.

Yeah, history is extremely valuable feature. I think I would rather get rid of bookmarks and maybe even tabs rather than history.
