You’re not the only one, it has something to do with anonymous login. I read that they use just a few sets of credentials for everyone using anonymous login, which on Google’s end looks like the same user downloading the same app over and over again.
I don’t have the link where I read that but google start to ban accounts who are used with aurora. Even its ur own personal account, be aware.
Without doubts that will impact aurora. Apk pure, is still an viable option.
I found an article talking about it but the way it’s worded sounds like only the accounts aurora use for anonymous login as well as disposable accounts used solely for aurora are being banned. Ironically because of the blackout, most of the sources it gives aren’t accessible so I can’t see anyones personal accounts lol.
No way can’t believe this, big techs literally do anything they can to kill any possible alternative to their monopoly.

Direct link worked for a while, also still does occasionally, but yeah, it’s been harder to download new apps.
I don’t think so, still using anonymous sessions here with no problems. (UK)
@retrolasered
I had the same problem. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn’t. I used a disposable Google account and have had no problems since.
Don’t do it if u can’t loose ur account without consequences dude. I will just use apk pure with an mobile browser personally.
@TGhost
I do it with a disposable account, so no problem 😉You know it :-)
Following solution 2 works well for me.
"For several days now, Aurora Store has been experiencing problems when searching for applications. This is due to limitations put in place by Google. While waiting for a fix, we can advise you the following two workarounds:
Solution 1: Create a ‘dummy’ Google account, disconnect the anonymous account in Aurora Store, then reconnect using this Google account.
Solution 2: Searching for applications in the browser on the Play Store site:
- Authorize the opening of Play Store links by Aurora: long press on Aurora icon, go to ‘App info’, then to ‘Open by default’, activate ‘Open supported links’, click on ‘Add link’, select the two proposed links.
- Search for an application on the Play Store site in the Browser, then without going to the application page, long click on the chosen application and click on ‘Open link in an external app’. If you go to the application page, you can use the Browser menu (3 dots at the bottom right), then click on ‘Open in an app’.
Solution 3: Install the latest development version, which automates the opening of the Play Store page as described above from a search made in Aurora Store."
