Reminder to journal when you feel like it. I’ve been having some issues getting myself to sit down and write in my journal, I picked up more work hours and a lot of personal stuff has been going on lately. Since I tend to journal about once a week-ish or when I need to write stuff down to process something that happened, this period of time seems like the best time for me to journal. But, the idea of sitting down to write didn’t appeal to me. And then I realized … I didn’t need to journal then I had already processed everything using the skills I would write down in my journal.

So this is just a reminder that if you feel frustrated or bummed out because you couldn’t get yourself to write, maybe you just didn’t need to. Journals are tools and many of us use them differently so don’t look at someone else’s daily journaling and feel pressured to daily journal. Just don’t feel pressured to journal in general!
