Right now it only sees bedroom jamming, but will hopefully will see a band environment soon. My thoughts on each component:

Korg Pitchblack Custom: Keeps me in tune and is easy to see and read. The Korg has a power out, so I might daisy chain the compressor off it to get another pedal on the board later.

SP Compressor: Originally was trying it out as an always-on pedal, but it felt like a compromise between my humbuckers and single coils. Now I’ve set it for when I want a squishy, clean rhythm sound.

Friedman Smallbox: Does the amp-in-a-box thing, makes my amp sound more like a Friedman, so no complaints. Still feel like I’m dialing it in as a good crunchy rhythm channel. I go back and forth between it and a DS-1W.

Blues Driver Wazacraft: Using it in the custom mode as a solo boost in both volume and gain. Sounds really good.

Carbon Copy: It’s the analog delay staple. Had one when they first came out, sold it when I took a break from playing, and bought it again.

Supro Amulet: Very similar to a Fender amp, but with a more leveled frequency response thanks to the Celestion speaker (i.e., not as mid scooped). Takes pedals really well, but I’ve noticed with ODs and distortions that things can get very bright very quickly. Right now it just stays on the 1 watt setting. Sounds great though with both single coils and humbuckers.

Great board! This is what i’m aiming for. What genres do you play and what guitarists/band inspire you mostly?

    Also, MXR CC gang 🤙🏼

Appreciate it! Since posting the DS-1W has gone back on in place of the Friedman. Sometimes fewer parameters is better as the Friedman lends itself really well to spending all my time tweaking rather than playing.

Lately it has been mostly funk, jazz, and rock; so a healthy dose of players like Mark Lettieri and Cory Wong. On the heavier, more progressive side Plini has been a go to for me.

Yeah, i understand the tweaking thing, i like sound sculpting, but it’s not playing.

I love the three of them! Amazing players, the only one I haven’t seen live is Cory Wong and i’d die to get a ticket for him and the wongnotes
