Stumbled on a behind the scenes of robocop today on the tube. It was quite striking in how much work was put in to make robocop robocop.

Obviously I know the name paul verhoeven but if you asked me what other films he made I would not have known.

When I looked at the list I was actually surprised that he also made hollow man, I know hollow man might not be as iconic as the robo, but I still find the movie quite good.

Also in that list is starship troopers, when you look at the satire in robocop it suddenly makes perfect sense he also made that one.

As for totall recall, it’s been a long time I’ve seen that one, I will have to rewatch that one of these days.

So if you would think of a sci fi movie in the same style as paul verhoeven sci fi movies, which ones would come to mind.
