So, this is more of a bootlegger question than the piracy normally seen on this board but I’m not sure where else to ask this.

I love collecting physical media, specifically movies and shows. Have a nice wall in the house that’s one giant film library. But as all of know the streaming services (for the most part) are not releasing their original shows and movies on bluray or DVD. Luckily, I found a decent enough bootlegger online, Moviesrusa. I’ve bought several movies and shows from them over the last 2-3 years with no problems, malevolent charges, or stolen payment info, but I noticed some changes that are making me concerned if I should still trust the site.

It has been a couple of months since I’ve last used them. Some new shows have finished up on streaming which I liked and won’t be released physically so I decided to checkMoviesrusa to see if they are offering them. But when I went to their site, which used to be Moviesrusa.net I got redirected to Moviesrusa.biz and my Avast (yes, yes I know there is better antivirus out there) blocked the connection because it has the new site blacklisted. Haven’t been able to find out much more on why Avast is blacking the site.

Now I’ve gone on the site with another device and it appears to be the same as it used to be, even had new items (recent shows) being offered suggesting someone is updating it, but I’m worried with the site being changed from a .net to a .biz along with the sudden blacklisting that something might be up. Big concern is someone hijacked the site trying to steal payment info. Although it could also be the owners are trying to stay one step ahead of the studios and those actions are causing red flags for Avast. Not sure which is why I am here. I hope maybe some here knows something.

I do have a backup bootlegger, but they cost just as much and only offer DVDs not blurays. And I know most of you will say just torrent the stuff but like I said earlier I enjoy having the physical items for my film library (plus it saves on HD space).
