minus-squarecybervseas@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up13·2 years agoHafiz Mustafa? I haven’t been. I did go to Karaköy Güllüoğlu which was really nice. Would you recommend Hafiz Mustafa next time I’m in Istanbul?
minus-squaresupermair@lemmy.caOPlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up10·edit-22 years agoGood eye, it is indeed Hafiz Mustafa! Would definitely recommend it, we tried a few different spots including Karaköy Güllüoğlu and Hafiz Mustafa was our favourite. Note this is from 2019 so am not sure if things have changed.
minus-squaremortalglowworm@reddthat.comlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up9·2 years agoStill good. My fave in Istanbul. If in Ankara, Hacibaba. If in Gaziantep, Kocak. You can’t go wrong with those.
minus-squaresupermair@lemmy.caOPlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up5·2 years agoThanks for the recommendations. I will have to go to Gaziantep next time I visit Turkiye, the food there seems incredible.
minus-squaremortalglowworm@reddthat.comlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up3·2 years agoIt is incredible. But only if you are into red meat. If you avoid meat, than it is horrible. You almost literally can’t find anywhere to eat.

minus-squarecybervseas@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up3·2 years agoI remember taking the metro to some random neighborhood in the city. Looking at the map yeah it’s near the water.
