Ironsworn (Solo) Some Fate in a home made fantasy setting.
@sgtnasty I mainly play solo. After some time enjoying the Neverland setting with the solo rules from Scarlett Heroes for OSR, I have started a character with Ironsworn: Starforged. It didn’t click a year ago when I tried before, but I am starting to appreciate what Shawn Tomkin did with this book.
Uh, tabletop or computer?
Don’t really matter, but the community is for table top RPGs.
Tabletop: Currently in a Pathfinder campaign and a LANCER RPG campaign. As well as two play-by-posts, one in FFD6, one in a custom system made by me.
PC: Enderal - Forgotten Stories and Divinity: Original Sin 2
Oops…I misunderstood the OP. I am currently running a bi-weekly Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay campaign using the Zweihander ruleset. We’ve been doing it for about three and a half years now, and have had loads of fun. :)
Some of my own stuff, some Cairn, some Bastionland, Fabula Ultima, SWN.

I really want to try out Shadowdark

Which physical books are you waiting for?
@plazman30 @Tim_Eagon @rpg I’m waiting for the Empyrean edition of Space 1889: After.
Hi there! Looks like you linked to a Lemmy community using an URL instead of its name, which doesn’t work well for people on different instances. Try fixing it like this: !rpg@lemmy.ml
None. But I’d like to get a game of mothership or mork borg going
I’m running a weekly Errant campaign set in 17th Century Savoy region.
I’ve published my campaign status document at the end of this post.
@sgtnasty I’m currently running one Pathfinder 2 game, prepping for a game of Protect the Child (a forged in the Dark playtest by @mintrabbit ), and writing up for play my own Fate Condensed setting.
I’m excited to hear how your game session goes!
@sgtnasty I recently lost one gaming group. My other gaming group meets so infrequently that I am not sure it qualifies for ‘current’.
When I do run it is either Mutants & Masterminds 2e or Scum and Villainy.
I mostly play solo and I’m on a kick of using the “BORG” games to flavor the Ironsworns. So, a MORK BORG flavored Ironsworn, a CY_BORG flavored Ironsworn:Starforged, and soon a PIRATE BORG flavored Ironsworn:Sundered Isles.
Also, Thousand Year Old Vampire, but it barely a game and more of a creative writing exercise.
PS: My goal is to run Cyberpunk Red using Ironsworn:Starforged for core and Ironsworn:Delve for netrunning dives. I just haven’t had the time to fully put together that toolkit.
When I actually have a game running, it’s certainly going to be Mythras. (Damn Lemmy really didn’t want me posting this comment for some reason)
Ah Mythras. I’m currently reading through Shores of Korantia. Maybe someday I’ll manage to run a session.
If only :D
I think the biggest problem with Mythras as-written in the book is that stat allocation is super tedious on top of everything else the core book suggests you come up with at character creation. The Mythras Companion and lot of systems derived from Mythras like Odd Soot have come up with the idea of giving people “blocks of points” to allocate, so you’re not doing nearly as much bean counting.
On the PC I currently play Outward as P&P DnD(which I personally like less and less), Pathfinder(the better DnD xD), Cyberpunk is currently replaced by Los Muertos, Aborea and Butterfly Aspect.
I am curretly playing Witcher 3: Wild Hunt on my computer and here is the list of Single player PC games.
I’ve gone back to good ol’ Skyrim with mods. They just don’t make RPG’s like they used to, anymore… :)
@Ghast error 404?
Cheers - maybe Gitlab updated how links to content work?
It’s updated now. It’s a rewrite of the free Dark Ages rules from White Wolf, with classic White Wolf backgrounds, and LaTeX as the typesetter.
The make file also has options to make modern rules (replacing ‘Ride’ with ‘Drive’, et c.), and another toggle to include the vampire rules.
It has house rules in chapters 3 and 5, but there’s an
original
branch without the house rules in case anyone wants to add different changes.
