Fwiw, I don’t think it’s about social conformity in the usual sense. It’s about social conformity in the sense that the man’s Christmas/easter greetings wish for his opponents to rot in hell. That’s not just “not confirming to societal norms”. That’s basically equivalent to being the guy preaching through a microphone that everyone’s going to hell.
Neuro-atypical folks are not getting caught in these cross hairs unless they also act as hateful.
