The Ejército Mexicano (Mexican Army) rolled into Nuevo Laredo on September 8, 2005, as Hurricane Katrina slammed into southern Louisiana after making landfall in New Orleans.       Did you know the drinking age in Louisana was 18 until Katrina hit? Then Bush and the government at large told them if you want assassitance raise you drinking age to 21.

        That’s in order to receive federal highway money if I recall correctly. Probably desperately needed that money right after Katrina though so that checks out. Was still trivial to drink underage when I was there years and years ago

                  US I was denied financial aid for fall semester because my legal partner makes too much money.

                  Edit: Oh yeah I’m old. Kinda don’t know how useful I’d be to any of these organizations honestly.

    Cuba responded before anyone else did with food, aid supplies, and doctors, and were promptly turned away by the US.

            Cuba has always been the first to respond to international emergencies with medical drs and aid. They have more doctors per capita than any other country in the world

              You may not know this and thats ok but do you know how much they will pay a nurse to help people out in Cuba? As a traveling nurse am generally interested.
