bruh, why can’t i use sync on nox player ? dafuq !
on play store it says not compatible with device, and a separate apk installation doesn’t work either.
i am keeping connect on the side for now.
Pretty sure Sync does not have x86 support, so desktop emulators would be a dead end outside of Android Studio…
The last physical x86 android device that I’m aware of was released in 2015 too, so maybe not worth bloating up the APK to support a niche use case like the emulator and a 2015 Zenfone whose NAND storage is likely on it’s last legs by now.
IMO pick a non-gesture based app that will be more usable on a desktop, Infinity could fit better if you’re looking for more apps to try
i want to use sync on pc and i dont like the web interfaces of lemmy, and also wished i could sync my settings and filters between my phone and pc. but TIL 2.0
also i appreciate u taking the time to explain stuff for me, instead of going ballistic. jeez…everyone is getting easily triggered lately and never tolerate any small bit of critique.

You have to know on some level that an android emulator on PC is a niche use case.
interesting argument. so many sync disciples in this place…
Bruh, it’s in alpha. Brand new. Native Android is the priority.

There are other Android emulators that support running ARM binaries on x86 machines such as the official Android emulator from Android SDK.
TIL
also i go install Android Studio.
off topic (?) maybe make another post
