    If it can feed back to the grid, it can be a safety issue for electrical workers. Having them know about this stuff before they mess with lines is the safe way to do it.

      what if they actually have to work (like, repair) on the lines? how do they make sure nobody’s feeding into the grid? do they go from house to house and ask everyone to unplug their balcony solar plants?

      what if somebody’s on holiday and only comes back in 2 weeks and forgot to switch off their infeeding?
