    True story time.

    Recently, I was applying for some government IT jobs. No matter the agency, almost all gov IT jobs involve having elevated access to systems considered high security clearance. Naturally, there’s gonna be a vetting process.

    I figured it was probably just some sort of criminal history investigation, drug testing, and fingerprinting. Yes, and no. As I read deeper into the process, it involved submitting information to the FBI, so they could put me on surveillance for a probationary period of the first year of the assignment.

    Immediately I thought,

    “Oh my god, they’re going to find out about Funhole.”

    Needless to say, I stopped the application process to avoid incarceration.
