Hey, Sunshine, I didn’t realize until now how fractured accessibility options are across Lemmy frontends. I’ve since amended the rule so that embedded images require alt-text (as this is just baked into the markdown) while posts with an image of text require alt-text if that’s more convenient or just a transcription in the body. Sorry about that.
