    Windows has a package manager. Two, actually. There’s the Microsoft Store, the shitty one, and Winget, the decent one.

          About half of the programs winget shows me it wants to update produce some sort of error when being updated.

    To be fair, you should restart programs that are using a library that just got upgraded.

    But you don’t have to.
