Not saying you’re wrong, but that would be beyond monumentally fucking idiotically retarded (and I genuinely don’t use that last word lightly) if they’re trying to kill the astronauts on board. Not only would they be killing their own folks (which they clearly wouldn’t have much problem with), but they’d also be killing 3 Chinese astronauts, which I guarantee would not be well received by the only country in the world backing them at this point.
So China only has to pay 3 lives and let Russia do what Russia does in order to take out the ISS leaving the Chinese TSS the only operable space station? Doesn’t seem that crazy these days.
Yeah… I don’t buy it. Pragmatically, that makes sense, but that’s a sure fire way for civil unrest to explode. A nation killing another nation’s civilians is tantamount to a declaration of war. No way China buys in.
