Personally, I picked up Space Marine 2, Astro Bot, Sifu (for free obvi), as well as Cat Quest 3, Thank Goodness You’re Here, and Okami HD.

I tried the demo for Penny’s Big Breakaway after watching the Dunkey preview video. I would have preferred more of the movement tied to other buttons than just different combos on square, so I did not pursue it further unfortunately.

Just finished Mario Odyssey and Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze on the switch with my 4 yo Daughter. She mostly likes to watch, but I thought Astro Bot would blow her mind, and Cat Quest might get her to pick up the controller with me in Coop. Finger’s crossed.

Played a bunch of Space Marine 2 with a buddy of mine and we promised to play the campaign together, unfortunately we haven’t been able to match schedules recently. It’s amazing though. Can’t wait to dive in more. The others I’ll get to soon enough.

How about all of you?

I got the RE2 remake. I haven’t played a survival horror since the original RE2 on PS1 when I was 10. I was never good at the game but now that I know not to treat it like an action game, it’s goin pretty well.

I’m going to start playing with the other half, their controller was delivered yesterday. I picked up super monkey ball and castle crashers on this recent sale. It takes two, stardew valley, nobody saves the world and Rayman Legends are already in my library. I’ll pick up A Way Out and Untitled Goose Game when it’s on sale.

Any recommendations regarding a couch co-op for casual gamers are welcome. We’d prefer to play together, not against.

Rayman Legends is great. You can also try some 2D bea 'em ups, like TMNT Shredder’s Revenge and Streets of Rage 4.

Those are fantastic picks for co-op! My partner isn’t a big gamer unless it’s a 2D Mario, Overcooked, or PlateUp lol. We played a bit of It Takes Two and it was great, but when we got to “chapter 2” where the gameplay switched up she fell out of it.

I also got her into Speedrunners because she’s really competitive and likes to go fast. I’m hoping that the Astro Bot speed run levels will excite her.

Another one for co-op that could be good if you don’t mind the theme is Cult of the Lamb.
