      It’s being animated by Science Saru (Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken, Ping Pong The Animation, etc…), so I would say it is.

        Wouldn’t that make a lot of western cartoons anime too since good chunks of them tend to be outsourced to eastern studios? I believe TAWOG was done in south korea

          @InfiniWheel That’s not Japan XDDDD

          I am just happy Chinese anime are getting more popular. Now I can make the stupid Chinese cartoon joke, and as they cringe to death, I can put my finger on my glasses and explain I wasn’t joking - I was just talking about TGCF/MDZS/God Troubles Me/etc . XD

    Done by a Japanese studio but produced by Westerners. So I don’t see it in MAL. But I’m looking forward to excellent Scott Pilgrim vs. Za Warudo edits.

    Would be hilarious if this replaces King of the Hill in subbed (English) vs. dubbed (Japanese) debates.

    So it looks pretty much like the same story from the movie, even has the same cast (doing voice over instead of acting).

    So… why?

    Yes finally! We can get a better retelling of the story Bryan Lee O’Malley crafted without putting it into a boss rush setup like the movie did
