ASU I don’t necessarily think is bad. They were one of the only respectable games all playoff. It’s all lip service though, it’s a revision to the standings to support the committee and push storylines. Like Colorado got beat down on their game, but they’re gonna stay in? Must like the Boulder money.

And tbf I don’t think Boise is half bad either. But looking back on the postseason and seeing how anosu SMOKED ND, Oregon AND Texas (2,3 and 4 for those who didn’t click the link) I feel like we should be given more credit for being able to walk away from that fight at all. OR this a reflection of the season as a whole in which case I still protest osu and ND being as high as they are with losses to unranked rival Michigan (still absolutely hilarious that it happened to bama btw) and 7th in the MAC NIU respectively, both at home.

Edit: But at the end of the day I do realize it is silly to be upset over what is effectively a popularity contest poll

It’s such a hard season for the deserving team truthers. Arguably ND and OSU were less deserving than other teams in the playoffs for those exact reasons. Win your games (ESPECIALLY those games) and there wouldn’t be any questions. But…they won, and they made the final.

It’s like the worst season to have this argument lol. It didn’t help the SEC this, but it reinforces their stance; their teams should get in despite some a loss or two.
