    Something I haven’t seen anyone talk about is the fact that the population of Greenland isn’t enough for statehood under the US Constitution. So even if Trump were to somehow acquire Greenland, it doesn’t qualify to become a state.

      Even if they acquire it, it wouldn’t become a state. Puerto Rico is big enough and it’s not a state. This is also probably as it’s too “left-leaning”.

        I don’t remember they vote every cycle or every year, but they regularly vote to become a state, they just never become one because they don’t get the majority. As it turns out, statehood with the US kinda blows
