If you get high enough skill with a weapon type, you can get a skill that gives bonuses like the weapon triangle, but otherwise there’s no bonus/penalty. Idk why the devs hate the weapon triangle, but even back in Radiant Dawn, it was disabled on Lunatic.

Doesn’t that get rid of like the main form of tactics the game had? Do you now just ungabunga your biggest number at the enemy?
It also allowed them to add additional weapons that aren’t a part of the trio. So far they have added fist weapons and done nothing else.
