    This is Crystal B. Schaaf:

    I had the opportunity to have dinner with her when I was in New Zealand for a satellite remote sensing conference. She was the keynote speaker. She is basically responsible for the data that tells us how much energy is actually being received or reflected by our planet (albedo). She shared a story about being at the launch of one of the first MODIS sensors, I think at Cape Canaveral. She’s a pioneer, a leader, and she doesn’t deserve this shit.

    They can miss me with this, women not having a place in science, bullshit.

      The reason we landed on the moon or even got into space at all is because of women solving many of the most difficult problems.
