My last tabulation was 2 years ago (it will be 3 in April).
Our #1 poster (or commentator at least) is still @SorosFootSoldier@hexbear.net! He went from 36,515 Comments to 45,600! That’s almost 5,000 a year so about 14 a day on average. 
@emizeko@hexbear.net has held onto their #2 position despite the years. They went from 31,664 comments to 39,400. SorosFootSoldier’s lead is rapidly diminishing and emizeko may overtake him by the next count!! 
@Dirt_Owl@hexbear.net has put in a lot of work the past two years and has risen from #4 overall with 24,311 comments to a piss-soaked #3 with 37,900! Badposting and its consequences?! 
Their rise may also be attributed to the loss of the previous #3 holder, UlyssesT who had 30,587 comments at last tabulation and likely had more before they deleted their account.
Honorary mention goes out to @Bunhead@hexbear.net with -6 comments, I dunno how you even get that to happen!!
Posting actual posts were not counted towards this tabulation (because the Search is shit and doesn’t include that in User searches) but I have a feeling our actual #1 poster in that regard is @Yuritopiaposadism@hexbear.net with almost 12k posts - truly the only user on this site that actually keeps the front page alive I salute you 
this is just ranked in terms of quantity. their contributions are appreciated, but when it comes to quality, the sites true top poster is

i think i still have one from when i was new to lemmy and didn’t understand that i didn’t need an account to engage w each instance.
although i would probably use it the opposite way you are; the racism/sexism/homophobia/etc. that i’m seeing in my feed coming from the overwhelming majority on .world et. al. weighs on me sometimes and it’ll be nice to have a lemmy experience devoid of it when i need a break from it, but still want to be on lemmy.
Oh I use Hexbear to relax, and Lemmy.ml to dive into the trenches and lead libs to theory. Hexbear doesn’t have constant bigotry or fascism so I use it when Lemmy.ml weighs on me.
