Tinykin is a fantastic 3D platformer that experiments with the genre by taking elements of other games and seamlessly combining them with parts of the genre we know and love. Part Pikmin, part Mario, and full of charm and innovative, and is one of the best 3D platformers I’ve played in years.

    Bought it on sale for my Switch. Good humor, and the puzzles and quests were fun. Hands cramp up trying to beat the time trials, but practice gets you far. Wished it was longer, but got my money’s worth.

    It’s a really fun game and feels more pikmin meets banjo kazooie (as its got a bit of collectathon element to it).

    Its mostly broken down into a number of set sandbox levels where there is a lot of vertical traversal. More of the map opens up as you collect the tinykin. The platforming is pretty smooth and there are a number of fun ways to traverse the maps.
