The DNC will likely not support him.

But other elected neoliberals will likely rally around him

I’ll say it till I’m blue in the face:

Neoliberals are not on our side and have actively been working against Dem voters for the last 30 years.

When people talk about what led us to this point, not enough people bring up Bill Clinton was the one who talked trump into running. Because they needed the worst candidate possible for Hillary to have a chance in hell.

According to several Trump sources (and one Clinton source) who spoke to the Post, the two men spoke over the phone in late May, shortly before Trump announced his run in June. During the call, the Trump sources said, Clinton “encouraged Trump’s efforts to play a larger role in the Republican Party” and “analyzed Trump’s prospects and his desire to rouse the G.O.P. base.”

That conversation, said the anonymous Trump sources, certainly didn’t discourage the billionaire to run: while Clinton never outright told Trump to enter the race, he reportedly told Trump that he was “striking a chord with frustrated conservatives and was a rising force on the right,” and his tone was supposedly “encouraging.”

We can’t expect the political wing of the Dem party who tried to drive us off the cliff will be the ones to swerve. They’ll 100% ok with trump and what’s happening. Because this is the only chance a neoliberal has to be president.

They’re willing to destroy our country so they win. And regardless of if neoliberals or Republicans win, the wealthy donors who give to both always win, unless voters pull our heads out of our collective assholes and realize a D by someone’s name isn’t the bare minimum that will beat fascists.

It needs to be someone who genuinely wants to help the less fortunate. If we do that we won’t see another Republican trifecta again.
