@fuat2mb hello! Thanks for sharing the love about CryptPad! Just a small thing about that instance you are linking to: it’s very much outdated, contains bugs and is misconfigured (posing security issues, look at https://cryptpad.devol.it/checkup/). For up-to-date instances we recommend checking our community public list: https://cryptpad.org/instances/. Hope this helps! 😊 @0x4E4F@Dirk
Hey, it was quick and dirty 🤷.
Plus 99% of them don’t allow you to open an ccount, so… f them.
You don’t need to open an account. You can follow PeerTube channels from Lemmy.

PeerTube channels, as far as I can tell, are groups, not users, so they should be follow able on Lemmy as if they were Lemmy communities.
ETA: Seems to work ok from my Lemmy account. I was able to pull in https://lemmy.ml/c/unitedkingdom_channel@tube.rebellion.global
@Kichae hmmm… https://kbin.social/m/unitedkingdom_channel@tube.rebellion.global doesn’t work just by typing it, but when I logged into my kbin.social account and searched for @unitedkingdom_channel the magazine then existed.
That probably just means that no one had polled the channel from kbin.social before, so k-soc didn’t know it existed.
It didn’t exist on lemmy.ml, either, until I specifically fetched it from there.

Thanks for the link 👍.
I have no intention to write to admins begging for an account. If they have open registrations, fine, if not, not signing up 🤷.
@0x4E4F what you call “begging for an account” I call actually having a human connection putting the social back in social media.
