    An entire article completely omitting the first question that comes to mind: How long does it need to recharge the battery?
    2000 km at 300 km/day implies they drove on 7 days. And it took them around a month to complete the trip, so that would mean it needed 4 days of charging for 300km on average.

      Thats actually pretty reasonable for solar charging - with typical 20-25% efficient panels, you’d get around 1kWh/m² per day in good conditions, and EVs use ~15-20kWh/100km, so the math checks out for a small lightweight vehicl.
