The start time for tonight’s game is delayed due to inclement weather per Os via Blair & Barker
First pitch is scheduled for 8:15 ET, and the tarp is being removed from the field now per sho Alli on the Jays radio broadcast!
There’s time yet for a Montoyo sweep tonight. Let’s go Blue Jays!
The most meh kind of sweep!
For me, the most meh sweep is a 2-game ‘sweep’. That’s just winning a 2-game series in my books. (Sweep must be over and above a win :)
I forgot about those!
lol, 3 up 3 down on a check swing…
I feel like Vladdy swings at first pitches more often than 80-90% of batters do
Alright! 2-0.
Nice to strike first!
(Edit: well that aged well /s)Yeah. Down by 2… Ugh.
I respect Cavan for his approach there after getting 2 BS strike calls. He didn’t turn his head or be demonstrative, but he did look at the ump briefly and say that “that was up,” if I can read lips correctly.
Os fans booing now when the strike zone isn’t 30% bigger lolSo, I was wrong about who our best starter by ERA would be this series :P. I said Kikuchi, Gausman, Berríos. But it was Gausman (3.00), Kikuchi (3.86), Berríos (7.50). Notably, Kikuchi pitched only 4.2 innings compared to the others’ 6.0
Oh damn. We better win the series with the Guardians 😓
